Amazon Is Opening A Huge Warehouse In Melbourne

US online retail giant Amazon has announced plans to open its first major Australian warehouse in suburban Melbourne, which it says will employ hundreds of people. The company — which is feared by many Australian retailers as a major commercial threat — says it will immediately start recruiting staff for the 24,000 square meter warehouse at Dandenong South, in Melbourne's southeast. "This is just the start," Amazon's director of operations for Australia, Robert Bruce, said in a statement. Amazon Marketplace enables third-party retailers to sell their products on the Amazon website. "This new fulfillment center will stock hundreds of thousands of products which will be available for delivery to customers across Australia when we launch our retail offering," Mr. Bruce said. LED Headlight Kit Market Is Far More A 10 Billion Market.

OSRAM published the Q3 FY17 Earnings Release (auditioned figures) in 27th, July 2017, which says the Revenue of €1,056m; comp. growth at3.2%, excluding pre-buying effects at estimated 8.5%. PHILIPS published the Q2 financial report, the sales reach €1.699 billion, the net income is € 73 million, increased 28.1% compared 2016. The First-half sales for PHILIPS are € 3.389billion, the net income is €1,340m. Recently the China customs released the half- year reports, China's exports lighting products were $16.97billion from Jan to Jun, LED lights was 8.89 billion USD, more than 53% of the total, increasing 21.3% compared 2016. Among the export of LED lighting products is $1.95 billion, the quantity of export lighting source is 1.51 billion pcs. Exports of traditional lighting products have decreased sharply.
